A tradition hundreds of years old and still thriving today, English Country Dancing promises to energize and delight family, friends, and kids, tonight at Caramoor, with its beautiful, soaring music and mesmerizing patterns of movement. Bring a picnic and blanket, dance to live music with the kids, get to know the musicians. Kids can talk to them and learn about their instruments in a fun and joyful way.
Caller Beverly Francis will lead an evening of dancing with special guests, the Bouwerie Boys and featuring a variety of musical styles performed live by Cynthia Shaw (piano) and Zara Lawler (flute). No partners or prior knowledge necessary! Tickets available for purchase at the door.
